You Can Do Anything You Put Your Mind To

It’s New Year’s Eve and I don’t usually post on a Monday but I wanted to get a post in before New Year’s and plus I have a few things I wanted to encourage you in, as well as open up about, so that you can be encouraged in whatever endeavors you pursue in 2019.

So that you can start the year right.

Anyway, I have been reflecting on some things … not only the past year but the years prior to that too. One thing that has stood out was that I am capable of doing a lot and handling a lot on my own. I’m actually quite a strong person, able to withstand some pressure (although not too much!), I’m quite bossy (or I’m good at delegating? :P), I’m good at networking conversations, and most of all … I’m creating the best team a girl could ask for, in terms of business.

2018 however was a bit more difficult, perhaps the most difficult within my business. I was struggling. Toward the end of this year, I’ve been forced to deal with some hard truths, faults and defects about myself but have managed to create better thinking patterns and approaches to life (with the help of a several apps).

One thing I’ve learnt throughout my whole business journey is that …

You can do anything you put your mind to.

This phrase is perhaps one of the most common phrases and sayings that is often heard and said toward others.

BUT

It is true.

Starting over from scratch, from absolute ground zero and building a business from the very bottom level upwards, is evidence of that.

I had failed tremendously, and burnt out on teacher training. I was at the very bottom of the pit and had no idea what to do with myself. I was depressed for months, felt useless and unable.

From that place, God gave me the chance to create something new. God gave me the chance to create something from nothing. God gave me the chance to start again, to be reborn, which is exactly what happened … He broke out something completely new from the ashes of my old story, my old life … He broke out my creativity and my fullest potential from the mere restrictions of teaching. My business grew from pain, old patterns (that didn’t work), and complete lack of identity. My creativity unfurled from that place of nothingness, I rediscovered who I was, and I rediscovered my abilities and gifts, that had previously been ignored.

You can do anything you put your mind to.

Because I grew this business from nothing, despite my previous failures, despite my previous patterns and mindsets and experiences.

AND, I’ve written just over 27,000 words in my children’s novel … (hopefully I’ll get it published within the next few months … EEK)

AND my friend has created his own board game (from scratch – designed gameplay and board game … everything), which is now available in shops nationwide!

You can do anything you put your mind to.

Because you can do anything.

Because every human possesses the ability to learn …

And with learning comes ability and experience …

And with experience comes credibility …

So, if you’re feeling incapable, aimless and not sure?

You can do it.

You can do anything you put your mind to.
